Mark Mattek

A.K.A.: Skippy, the Skipper
Favorite scorekeeper: The girl who was sitting at the table at MATC
Favorite pastime besides volleyball: Designating the "spaz of the match" which is picked from each opponent we play. (You'll have to e-mail me to find out who wins each week.)

This freshman at WLC has never played organized volleyball in his lifetime. The highlight of my "unorganized" volleyball career, however, is beating the senior volleyball team (I was on the junior volleyball team) in the championship match of my high school's 1998 Winter Carnival volleyball tournament. Otherwise, I'm pretty new to this sport and enjoy my role as setter, outside hitter, and shortest person on the team. In future years I look forward to growing 5 inches, attaining a serve comparable to Voelsch's, and to the graduation of the first string setters (just kidding Jimmy).
